Of
sacred and historical significance in the origin of Lhasa,
Pum Pu Ri is one of the holiest mountains in Tibet. Both residents
and pilgrims climb the mountain to offer prayers.
Prayer
flags are imprinted with scripture. When the wind blows the
flag, the prayer is therefore recited for the benefit of all
beings.
